We want to give a big shout-out to our “retiring” student worker, Emily Shaw, who is graduating on Saturday with a joint B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies. Emily also happens to be this year’s Outstanding Student in Political Science.
Emily was recently accepted into New York University’s Masters in Environmental Conservation Education Program. Late yesterday evening she informed us that she is the first recipient of the NYU Steinhardt EnergyWatch Fellowship for $10,000!!! Woo hoo! It should be noted that this fellowship is highly competitive and only one fellowship is awarded per year.
Congratulations, Emily — we are very proud of you! Outstanding, indeed!
Finals are over and it’s time for Commencement!!! No reading assigments until Monday…
