Does Clinton really lead in swing Congressional Districts?

11 05 2008

From Ben Smith at The Politico, via Five Thirty Eight:

Clinton’s aides this morning offered reporters’ a PowerPoint presentation that mirrors the key case to uncommitted superdelegates: that her support among rural, elderly and Hispanic voters make her a stronger top of the ticket for endangered Democrats. (The 20 districts referred to above are those of freshman members whose districts went for Bush in 2004.)

That’s the most important consideration for many members of Congress…though at this point members considering endorsing Clinton also have to worry about getting hit with attack ads for having endorsed both Clinton and Obama this cycle.

You can download the PowerPoint here.
